Digital marketing for Costa del Sol
We worked on the digital marketing strategy of the Costa del Sol (Malaga region) for 3 years. I participated in the project as a creative designer and art director, my main task was the visual communication of social media and the production of audio-visual content.
Our main tasks included monitoring social media platforms, responding to current trends and producing content. We also created content for the brand in campaigns, static and audio-visual formats. As an art director, I oversaw brand image and visual quality, which was a challenge as we received content from many different sources.
Over the years, we have made countless videos to popularize the destination. We basically worked on 3 segments: MICE, golf and tourism. Each segment had its own color and visual elements that we had to apply during content production.
We worked for national and international needs as well, thus we prepared the videos in 4 languages: spanish, english, german and french.
Additional videos can be viewed on the brand's YouTube chanel and on other social media platforms. The videos were adapted for each platforms needs.
In addition to organic reach, the videos were also used in paid ads, like Google ads, social media ads and collaboration with other traveller sites.
