Budapest brandbook

Background
Budapest needed a cohesive visual system capable of representing a complex and diverse city while bringing more than 50 municipal organizations and initiatives under a unified brand framework.

Project Overview
In collaboration with Elevate Studio, I contributed to the development and documentation of Budapest’s new umbrella identity. The system builds on a central grid structure that creates visual consistency while allowing individual organizations to maintain their own character.

My work focused on developing the visual system and translating it into a clear, scalable brandbook, defining how typography, color, graphic elements, layouts, and brand applications work together across different touchpoints.

Results and Impact
The result is a flexible visual framework designed to bring consistency to Budapest’s communication across a wide range of organizations, projects, and formats. The brandbook provides a practical foundation for applying the identity across both digital and physical touchpoints while preserving the diversity of the city and its institutions.
